CCCUSA Governance:
CCCUSA is a certified 501c3. We have created a strong governance structure with the emphasis on creating a network of experts, advisors, and champions that are dedicated to the success of CCCUSA.
Governance has three tiers:
Board of Directors:
A small group of (6-8) organizational experts will make up the Board of Directors. They will have the traditional and legal responsibilities and act as chief advisors to the Executive Director. The expertise embodied in the Board of Directors will reflect current organizational needs. Directors will have two-year terms, with a maximum of six consecutive years.
Board of Trustees:
A larger group (20-30) called the Board Trustees, will act as strategic thought partners whose ideas and intellect will be exercised often. They will receive all board materials and communications, be invited to serve on Board Committees, and may attend Board meetings.
Leadership Corps:
Community leaders will be nominated to serve as part of the Leadership Corps. The expectation is that they will be everyday champions, providing critical eyes and ears for the program, providing feedback on current issues, and participating in strategic planning. There is no formal meeting except for an optional annual meeting.
CCC Enterprise Governance:
incorporate as their own 501c3 and will have their own Board of Directors, Trustees, and Leadership Corps, and legal charter with the national CCCUSA organization.
